First thing on Easter morning; it is about death—but the death that gives us life. When we left this room it was empty. It was all we could do to look at the cross—a cross that was made by us and our sin—and the Savior who willingly went there for us. But the cross was not the end of the story. It is all about the life that flowed from this cross, down into hell, through the empty tomb, spilling out into a world unprepared for its good news. Life has triumphed! Death has not overcome it! Because he lives, we shall live also!
