Risen Savior’s congregation was founded as a mission in 1978 to serve the South Bay San Diego area. Services were initially held at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, and then at the Filipino American Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bonita. Our current church building was constructed and dedicated in 1993. It now serves as a permanent sanctuary for souls to study God’s Word and worship their Savior. 

Many pastors have served us over the years who have faithfully shepherded God’s sheep. Our current shepherd, Pastor Paul Schulz, was called by the Holy Spirit in 2014 to serve us and deliver Christ’s love and compassion.
